My name is Hugh Skidmore, and I welcome you all to my official website.
I was born in Australia in 1990, and have ridden speedway since I was 16 years old. My progression to become a top rider professionally, was rewarded by the Sheffield Tigers Speedway Club, with a replacement rider position in 2009 to replace injured rider, Ritchie Hawkins.
In 2009, I joined the Sheffield Tigers Speedway Team mid-season. My first meeting in the position of No. 2, proved to a great performance for me. I moved forward with confidence and was awarded a full team spot with the Tigers for 2010.
2010 has also bought good fortune in sponsorship and support from companies and individuals from Australia, England and Canada. Their belief in me is great to have, and I sincerely thank them all for their support!

A good team win to keep us in the hunt for a palyoff place tonight, it was a tough go, but I got 7+3 for my efforts. Had a couple of cracking races, was pleased with the bikes!
